Attempt #1 So here is the Good and the Bad of it... When the instructions said use 2 to 3 cups of water- I did... not thinking that my bowl was significantly smaller than the one used in the demo.  DUH...... So I did not get those nice pretty swirls until the very last color, and of course it is the least seen of the four layers. Moral-  Do not use that much water unless you have a REALLY BIG BOWL! But even with this massive screw up the effect is still quite interesting.

Attempt #2 Notes: Less water did get nicer swirl effects Shape of bowl has definate and obvious impact on how well you can move the water/paint around inside.  Although this is a great shape it was difficult to manipulate! AND....I was not happy with how "washed out" it looked with the silver inside.  Since it had such a large opening the inside color had a big impact on the over all look.  So after the fact, I painted it black!
